Engine Timing with MSD Ignition

I have a 1982 Camaro below is my setup. I am trying to get the timing set correctly I have tried different advance curves. I still get pinging. Currently I have timing set to inital of 8 degrees with a 28 degree advance bushing with a total of 36 degrees of timing. I am getting pinging under load. Does anyone have a similar setup and found the correct timing curve and advance. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in Advance,

Run 15 initial and 20 in the distributor for 35 total. What kind of gas? Might consider meth injection system too.

Re: Engine Timing with MSD Ignition
