Im.aware of the pvc or.pcv whatever system and how it works. Question is if i.replaced my stock air.cleaner that has it where it.connects to the side with an edelbrock cleaner could i just replace that.pipe.lookin.thing that goes.to the air cleaner with just a normal air breather?

Re: air cleaner question

Yes, you could do that. Many people do when putting on an aftermarket air cleaner.

If you have factory centerbolt valve covers just realize that the size of the grommet is smaller than on typical aftermarket perimeter bolt valve covers. They take a 3/4" breather where the older/aftermarket covers take a 1" breather.
