rocker stud holes go into runners

So I have a pair of pro comp 3002 heads and the rocker stud holes go through into the intake runners. Will I need some sort of rtv to seal it so oil doesn't get in or what should I do?

Re: rocker stud holes go into runners

Thats common. Use ptfe thread sealant on the studs and no worries

Yup:

RTV won't work, because gasoline eats it.

Let the sealant set up for a few days before putting the heads on and starting the motor, to give it time to dry a bit.
