Nursed car home pig rich. 10-1 on E85. Did I hurt anything???

See sig below. I'm running a Garrett GT series turbo combo. I was out last Friday doing test pulls. I had my AFR right at 11.0-1 (E85) which was my target WOT AFR. It all of a sudden got pig rich. (Junk in the needle and seats). I drove it home which was about 5 miles and it was dumping fuel. I took the carb off, cleaned it up and put it back on. The starter couldn't turn the motor over. I only tried this once. Next time I get to the car I will pull plugs and turn the motor over by hand to get all the fuel out of the cylinders. My question is, did I hurt anything by doing this??? I'm really worried about bending a rod with the starter or something like that. (This didn't happen while it was running. I did get it home back in my driveway.)

Any help guys?!?!

I think junk in the needle and seat would restrict the supply of fuel not increase it

if so you went lean, not rich.

when you say "dumping fuel" what do you mean, smoking exhaust? What kind of AFR readings were you seeing on the way home?

if anything you leaned out hurt it nursed it home and now it won't start. Pull the plugs and check them, if any look melted / missing electrode you maybe got lucky and just burnt the plug up on that hole.. If the plugs look like they are spray painted silver you hurt a piston on that hole. (broken ring land + other damage)

any finds plugs that look like that you want to do a compression test..

High 9 to low 10:1 AFR. Pig rich.

that could just mean you had 1 or more holes dead and not burning fuel... melted spark plug(s) or hurt the piston(s)

I went thru the same thing with E85.

Any savings on fuel was eaten up my having to prematurely refresh the engine..TWICE

I went back race gas and no regrets.

Pull the plugs and check them..

if the starter turned the motor before,it should still do it, that is a sign of a problem.

What are the odds the starter went out? and how did you get junk in the needle and seat? don't you have a fuel filter?! Did you pull filter and inspect it?

I pulled my all my turbo plumbing off, changed plugs. While they were out I cranked the motor over with the starter to get the excess fuel out of the combustion chamber then installed new plugs. I then drained the oil. There was ALOT of fuel in the pan. Installed new filter. That's as far as I got. I'm going to clean the carb and reinstall it tonight or tomorrow. I hope everything is fine.

what did the plugs and the oil look like? any grayish/black sludge in the oil? this would be aluminum from meted piston(s)

is your fuel pump boost referenced? I can't see that much fuel getting in there when not under load (boost)
