dis. gear

what do you have to do to get that dam thing off the end of the dis. one of the teeth broke on it and i have to replace it. or will it work if one is broken its only about half way gone

hi 88,
It's fairly easy once you get the dist. out. Just drive out the pin under the gear, and if the gear still doesn't come off, some WD-40 will do wonders. Just work it back and forth and it'll come off, trust me.

alright sounds good guys i will do that next time iam over at my car. i have to buy the new gear frist and will the new gear come with a new pin or should i use the old one and try not to loose it

I've always used the old pin. If the new gear comes with a new pin then use the new pin.
