how do you stiffen up the gas pedal

i want a little more resistance on it how do i do it

add a spring to the lever on the engine.

yep, it's right on your carb, you'll see it move when the accelerator gets pushed.

It is safer too less chance of throttle getting stuck.

I do have to say I would put more springs when you are there stiffening it up. I had a MAJOR throttle sticking issue and man let me tell you I don't want anyone going through that. WHile you are tightening it up tou can add more springs to make it safer....
