how to convert Reliant k car into iroc-z with RWD ????
can it be done for less than three grand?
if i do most of my own work, including everthing upto cutting the car in half? which i will do if need be.
i will have to tub out the front end, and totally cut the car to **** but i will do it, just so i dont give the government bastards anymore money than needs be.
I owned and drove a Reliant K for a little while, it was my first car. The "k" based chassis wasn't any good underneath the Reliant and other passenger cars, it was 80's econo-trash dreamed up by Lee Iococa (sp?) to save chryslers butt from the proverbial fire.
They were made SO cheaply, i really wouldn't bother trying to add any sort of extra horsepower or waste any money on custom work.
However, if you really want something more from it chrysler did make turbo versions of the 2.2 and 2.5 litre motors that came stock in those cars. You could always swap one of those in.
(But then it wouldn't be thirdgen related, and you'd have to go here - www.turbododge.com
