Where to buy small base circle cams ?

I bought a crower cam to put in my 408. Now I think I'll have clearance issues with the rods hitting it (using 5.7 rods). Where would I go to get a small base circle cam ? Or what other options do I have... ? Get the machine shop to clearance the rods ?

You may be able to clean up the rods enough to clear, or you can get a smaller base circle cam from any of several manufacturers. Comp has about 15 different ones with a .900" base in the catalog alone, but those are all solid rollers. I know they will custom grind about anything, and I'm guessing that Crane, Lunati, and Isky will do the same.
