on a 14x3 dual snorkel air intake, how much is air flow hindered with a 1/2" drop base

is worth worrying about? i know it drops the filter down a slight bit and then the incoming air has to flow over the 1/2" bump up inside b4 emtering the tbi..........gimme your thoughts

you shouldn't lose any from the last test i seen. i believe it was car craft or hot rod did an air filter test and the one that suprisingly did the best was the drop base air cleaner. not that it says the drop base is the best, but i wouldn't expect any loss due to it.
