My friend has a 350 that's been bored .060 in his Formula right now and he thinks one of the cylinder walls is cracked and wants to know how he can tell. Here's the symptoms of his car. Slight white smoke out the tailpipe even in hot weather. Water dripping from the exhaust pipe. No oil in the water, no water in the oil.
Personally, I think he blew a head gasket in a particular spot and water is entering the exhaust and the white smoke is actually steam from the water but he seems to think his head gaskets are fine.
sounds like a blown head gasket to me. there would be water in the oil if the cylinder wall is cracked leaving a white milky look to the oil. hope this helps you out.

A cylinder leakdown test could isolate a bad cylinder. It it was cracked, there's a good chance the crankcase will fill with coolent.
Water dripping from the tailpipe is normal. Water is a byproduct of combustion. It's better to have it dripping out the tailpipe than having it sit in the muffler and rot it out. My service truck drips water 12 months of the year. It'll leave a puddle when it sits idling for over 15 minutes.
Is the coolent level going down?
