turbo'd crx vs iroc

How would a turbo'd B16 CRX do against an L98 with cam, headers, and 3.73s? BTW the crx was runnin a 15.0 before the turbo.

i would think that turbo crx should be close to the 13/14 mark. depeneding on boost.

a L98 with cam, headers, and gears should be able to hit at least mid 13s.

on the street it might need traction, but it it hooked shouldnt be a problem.

you should prolly take him on this race

doesn't sound like he is the greatest driver and with boost it prolly isn't going to get much better

like my friend in his 86 rx7 was able to pull good mid 15 everytime

put boost on there hit a 13 a 14 and then a 15 second 1/4

but yet he is putting more then 50hp down to the wheels then another guy who was running consistant 12.8 times

Depends on how the B16a ran before the turbo and how it's tuned after the turbo.

I've seen NA b16a CRXs run mid-high 15s, which is pathatic (15.0 isn't much better), basically equal to a L98 running mid 15s. And I've seen turbo GSR civics (B18c turbo) running high 14s, which should be a high 12-low 13 sec car on street tires.

If he did it right/decent, it should be a close race, and he'll probably have more top end assuming it's tuned half way decent, like between 10:1 and 15:1 A/F.

Both cars have the potential for mid 13s IMO, all depends on tunning and driving.

I doubt it's going to be tuned right. He's using stock everything besides the actual turbo components, which he's pieced together from what's been given to him. I'm just hoping i get a chance to take him before he blows that thing.
