had some fun with an eclipse last night

lately i have been seeing this eclipse running around town, very nice looking car. its black with green underbody neons, but it doesnt look like your average white trash *****. the aftermarket wing went well with the lines of the body, the fart cannon was not overly annoying. he had all the emblems removed. in all a nice tastful eclipse.

but anyway, after work last night i was crusing around with a friend and we passed this car 3 or 4 times just crusing the main strip in our town. we end up getting behind him and he turns off onto a side street and i follow. we come to a stop sign and he turns on his turn signal to show that he wanted to go deeper into the side streets of our town. but he had to of noticed i was following him, and he gives me a few revs, and i return the favor. he switches his signal to head back towards the the main strip! so now its obvious he's game. we cruize side by side waiting for the traffic to clear. luckily the traffic clears and we catch a red light.

as we are sitting at the light i look over and the bastard wont even look at me. the light turns and i get a great launch with very little spin, i immeditly pull about 2 cars on him, i hear his tires chirp has he goes to 2nd and he gains a little back, then i hit 2nd and there was no catchin back up with me then. i shut it down at about 110 and he was 4 or 5 cars back.

i tried to get him to pull over to talk but he wouldnt follow so i never got to see what he was running, but it was obviously not a turbo by the way i smoked him.

Just 5 lengths???

You should have left even a GST by that much! Were you just toying with him or what? The GS runs a 16.9 (so I've seen). You should be in the 14 second territory at least

Yeah was it one of the newer ones? or one of the older, by older I mean like through 98, I believe. Regardless, you definitely done him good by showing him what a real car will do!! Great kill!!!

alright, ive gotten some more info on the eclipse and the driver. i was told by a friend that knows the owner of the eclipse that it is a 98 or 99 (he couldnt remember exactly) and that it is the GS-T model.

so that makes me feel alittle better being that i stomped the turbo eclipse.

the the guy that owns it is the son of a cop in our town, must be nice to run up and down the road all night and not have to worry about getting pulled over.

wow ur bro is out in the clowds then. GST's were and are only single turbo cars with little side mounted inner coolers. the newer eclipes gt's are slow even the v6's, ive driven and beaten on plenty and there not impressive. they should have stayed with the single turbo'd 4 banger.

Hey Pre id actually like to see you try that. last time someone tryed hittin an employee, the guy pulled the person goin to hit him over the counter and beat the guys ***. lets say that was the last time that guy shopped at pepboys. and yes we beat on cars at pepboys but we dont go out doin dounts and burnouts and racing. by beatin on them is just floorin it or see how it rides. enless you actually say well this car just doesnt have power or anything then we will beat on it and see why it dont have power. do u think any other store or auto place like pepboys or strauss or sears or someone doesnt beat on a car?

edit: "If I found you beating on my car when I had work done on it your head and the windshield would connect." i just get a kick out of internet tuff guys :lala:
