5.0 and LT1 go down

Was out cruising last night and picked up a couple kills. First race was a LX hatch 5.0L 5 Spd. He passed me coming out of a gas station with a clean IROC vert in pursuit. They lined up at the next light and the kid in the IROC wouldn't race. So the LX driver started reving the hell out of the 5.0. I'm sitting behind the IROC and decided to unleash the fury that is 1 3/4 SLP Headers, gutted cats and SLP Loudmouth cat-back. So I slap it in neutral and give it a couple revs. Mustang guy gives me the thumbs up. I pass the IROC and finally catch a light with the Stang. We both spun off the line pretty good, I pulled out to a couple car lead before the next light. Did this a couple more times, gave each other the thumbs up and went our separate ways. About an hour later, I'm cruising and a '93 LT1 Auto Firebird pulls up on the right. Didn't think too much of it, it was an older guy with his girlfriend. A couple lights up, I start to get into the left turn lane and the guy throws a couple revs so I continue straight and we eventually work our way through traffic and catch a light. I pulled him harder than the Stang, easily 3-4 cars. We slow up for the next light and he's throwing revs again so once again I rip him a new one. Next light, he turns off. Gotta love our slow TPI's!

haha! Sweet kill bros! You know the early Lt1s in the F body dont fear me at all. THey came less torque , but only had a 30 hp gain. You can slap some bolt ons your L98.. Yeah the Lt1 system is still better setup, but like i said, ive seen L98s take em down, esp at the beginning . You need a good driver. Good kills tho
