yeah, this thread does need to be locked asap... its getting a bit silly. anyway, as we speak- there is some guy ouside my window reving the motor in his f40. i can see the 12cyl thrue the clear hatch.. i gotta go race him to jersey.. seeya......

i raced title 4 title 2/3 stang beat the **** out of me! 2 times in a row and the 2nd race he gave me 3 car head start .he drove a stock 89 5.0 ,i drove a stock 89 iroc. if u love ur car plz don't race a stang . i am heart broken my wife and kids are pissed at me .why the f *** are they SO much faster? i am generally a 71 -74 dodge charger man and never had a problem w / 5.0 tangs before. but this time i put more $$$ in this chevy (than i ever did my chargers ) and i believed in it, never again.! belive me people my old maro was not slow it kcked alot of a** until; Mr. tang. 4,000.00 gone forever!

does that look like a fiero? no a real one. and i beat him by about 5 cars in a short 1/8th mile race. would have been more, but i had 4 friends in the car with me.

Yeah, it does. But thats ok I've seen em, They have a 1.6 litre duel turbo setup. It runs on powdered aluminum thats mixed with nitro in the cylinder. kicks about 1000+ H.P.

yeah man, my cousin had a similar setup in his yugo, but it may have been bored to like a 1.9 with the aluminum and nitro injection. we would cruise thrue the hamptons all weekend spanking enzo's
i was so sad the day my little brother got a 5sp 88 or 89 (i can nvr remember) fox body. my first words to him were something like "why would you buy a ford?" lol. but after driving it, i'd have to say that i'd never take a stock camaro (excluding ls1) up against it. the first few gears feel like the 302 is going to tear the whole car apart! i'm willing to bet that they were srsly underrated from the factory.
I read the whole thread before I realized he had a TBI car. Geez no wonder. A stock 5.0 Mustang has 225 HP and runs mid-high 14's. A stock TBI f-body has 170 HP and runs low 16's. Of course he would spank you. Just because a thirdgen has a V8 doesnt mean its a fast V8. That stock V8 TBI is half the reason why thirdgens get so laughed at. People dont understand the difference in power, they just know its a V8 (and think they're all 350's).

Wow you raced for pinks in a STOCK 89 Iroc? That was your first mistake and your second was believing that 89 5.0 was stock lol
I hope this guy tries to race his new stang against his old iroc. If the guy that got it from him was smart he would have taken the $3500 and put it into the iroc. Maybe it takes losing your car twice and $3500 to learn....
I live right near where fox bodies came to life... The area of southern new england through new jersey is where the fox body craze began (specifically Etown). The thirdgens have a so so reputation, some of the people bring that down, but that holds true for ratted out fox bodies. If either car is in good shape the stereotype is usually forgotten...
The sad part is there arent a ton of nice thirdgens around here, and if there are I sure dont see them!

There are about 6 third gen camaros around my area, a white one who rolls with out a hood(hangs with r=i-c=e-=r=s) and theres a nice red one that looks almost the same as mine and a nice *** blue one, those are the only two (the red and blue ones) that are in good shape and 2 out of the remaining 4 are in crappy shape and the last 2 are POS. i have a rare car around here hahaha
theirs a like nearly (realy I counted each differnet 1) almost 50 thirdgens with in a 30 something minutes from my house, most of them are in good shape, ver few fox bodies.........

Those of us that don't fit a "stereotype" tend to not post very much in threads like this one. It was entertaining, but it's run its course. I'm amazed this hasn't been locked yet. On the topic of stereotypes though... aren't they pretty much the same no matter what car is being referenced? If someone seems "stereotypical", they're generally considered an unintellegent loyalist that believes their make and model is the best ever and everyone else sucks. The only variation in the stereotypes is regarding age and hair style.

We're talking when an Audi thread about the new S cars came up, he went ragging on them... That person in my eyes is no better, even though he does own a real clean and quick 2003 Mach 1! Hey i love my chevy but i know its not the best car in the world, i give credit to other cars that are faster or nicer. *******-R--S on the other hand i have no respect for, a clean fast import i do but not a modded, gay painted, and a wing, and stickers, etc. i have no respect for.
ok ur a dumbass to run for slips with a TBI car little alone a 305, i would have kept that to myself, i had a 92 rs 305 and i wouldent run it, one because it was a 305 and 2 my 89 rs camaro with a 2.8 V6 with 944 injectors in it with a howell efi chip would smoke my 92 with the 305. i have a L98 IROC-Z TPI now thats been built, and im running howell efi computer and chip with LT1 injectors and its ****ing fast. but no way would i run a 305.
