Re: Question who do u think would win

I can drive especially when it counts.
but I know I can't beat an auto in shifting if its built.
However its a friend of mine who seems to think that my car is slow..cough (he drives an s2000 and a crapy 87 rx7 turbo) both I've beaten and never have to go past like 80mph because I have like 3 cars on him and he thinks his cars r reeling me in everytime I shut mine down.
I guess since he can't beat me. he is trying to be mr. know it all and get me to race this kid who, with his last build lost to my buddy's pos civic. Its a new build now but the kids car shifts at 6000rpms like I do in mine when I race so I figure cubes and gears have to be the factor in this race right?

Re: Question who do u think would win

well, since we have pretty much no info on the camaro other than its a camaro and an automatic, its kinds hard to tell. If the maro has a 4000 stall converter, its probably a very strong runner, or a mish-mash of unmatching parts

Re: Question who do u think would win

i think the camaro will win chances r good your 2 bolt will break and so will your t56.

your car by your parts doesnt seem that fast prob. like a high 13.

i dont think your heavy car would beat a turbo rx7. and who shuts down at 80. a real race is atleast to 120. 80's not even an 1/8th mile.

i hope u can drive cuz the t56 doesnt shift as good as a stalled automatic

You started your first post with this rubbish and inaccurate info?

So if his car is truly a high 13 second car as you predict why would it break a 2-bolt main block and T56?

He absolutely has a solid 12 second car, his 2-bolt main block is fine, as his is T56...and turbo RX7's are slow in stock form.

...so yeah.....not a good way to start your first post. You might want to start doing some research, it'd help you look better in the future.

Nice post! lol

this guy is not serious, this is all bs

It sounds like you have a well balanced set up wit your gta. the camaro seems to be the wild card here. I bet you have a good 10mph on him in the 1/4.
should be a good 1!

Re: Question who do u think would win

Don't know enough 'bout the Maro, however if it is a12 second car, you'd be lucky to win, in a 1/4????? Gearing is everything in the 1/4, on the other hand 3:42's get him on the open road!!!

Lets see... he's automaticly going to break because he has a 2 bolt main. Humm I have one as well and haven't broke in the 5+ years the engine has been in the car. Have a look at the times I'm running in my sig.

No way he'll be running high 13's unless the car is 5000 lbs or has zero traction.

1. Well I guess high 13's sec cars can magically light modded ls1's.

2. Why shut down at 80mph....well I know that there's just no way I'd be able to keep pulling til 175mph so I give up before he passes me at 300mph cuz we all know rx7 have top end.

Re: Question who do u think would win

with the eception of the tranny and stall (i have a 700r4 with 3000 stall)....and the guess od gears.....(mine are 3.73's)

the generic discription of the camaro could in part describe my 84 t/a that runs 12.2@112mph na or 11.8@119 with 125 shot.....no traction eitherway

so i guess more info needed!!!!
