Well this weekend I will video tape it from a dig and post it on here. I had the car in overdrive and we went from about 40 MPH. I tried to do what HCR13 told me to, and was surprised he kept up too. He was surprised my car was so fast lol. I did beat a nice clean 88 RS Camaro that wasn't stock today. That was the best I ever launched my car, if I do it like that again this week end, he has no chance in hell of winning...
First off, your car is just nasty. LOVE the look. What happened? Did you ever race this guy again?

happened at Fayetteville Northcarolina dragway, and it was 14.4 seconds at 93mph, found the slip. only mods is a muffler.
i was using ZRi tires got them sticky, launched from 1st, shifted at 5200 rpms to 2nd and into 3rd end of race. i raced a 2008 SS truck the whole time (6 runs total) and he kept falling a sleep at the light. by the end of the race i only had him by a nose. only mods he had on the truck was a CAI a tune and headers....at least thats all i remeber.

Ha I totally forgot about this thread. We went from a 40 roll because he was to much of a ***** to go from a dig. I totally waxed his ***. It was not even close. He had 3 friends watching on the side of the road and I waved to them and smiled as I went by about 7 or 8 lengths ahead of this guy. it was ****ing epic. I really wished I got it on camera, but my friend was a no show and I couldn't video tape it and race the car at the same time. I wish you guys could have been there to see it.. The next day at school he told me that he still didn't like my car. I said that's Ok because I dont like weedwackers either.

Pretty cool post.I`ve wathced it for a while.Glad there was actually an outcome.Usually nothing happens. Most of the import guys do crack me up though.Everytime I go to the local track for test and tune these guys break there necks to line up with me.I guess its cause my car is obviously one of the slower cars at the track and the races are not even close. Not saying theres not fast imports but most of the kids who think they have a fast one have some junk.Like the guy whos tag said SMKNV8S.What a joke his car was. Most of them want even talk to you afterwards. This guy said wait till I put my turbo on.I`m thinking,I`d have done that before I put that tag on.And most of those races were with a 2.73 gear, stock stall, and stock trans.
