86 Iroc Vs 09 Zr1

This is the second set of races between are cars first set we threw out. 3 races this night the 2 major ones in the video.

First race is not in the video i pulled a car by 140ish. Zr1 hit rev in a gear. Listen to him shift AMAZING!

Second race is the first in the video in my opinion we were dead even when i went up on the rev limiter but i held it there too long and he pulled ahead.

At this point we decided it was 1-1 so a third race was in order i turned the rev limiter up because i thought for sure i could pull him up top (you are all prob laughing esp if you know anything about a 06+ corvette Zanything) He iced his engine down for about an hour and i taped some lines off on my car to pass the time.

Third race i started about a half a car back because i didn't get lined up in time and when he hit it he said his TC came on i think they canceled each other out evened out the start and the race continues like the ones before(damn close) until the magic happens

Thanks to Stan at engineered victories for a sick setup that runs consistently.

It usually ends up being a holeshot type 'shock' that does a rearend in.
I doubt highway blast will wreck it. Well, maybe.

Re: 86 Iroc Vs 09 Zr1

Rear end has been holding up to everything i throw at it but i havent used the trans brake 1 hit off that and it will be toast i know that for sure. Alot of failures i have seen in 10 bolts is improper installation of ring and pin etc Stan at EVI who built my car has been doing rear ends for a long time.

Bad *** car BTW..

I wouldnt mind lining up with a zr1/z06/ or any exotic once I get a good tune on my car with 12psi.

Prob. no different then me driving around on a 383 with supercharger and 12+ lbs boost.
Prob. no different then others driving around on small blocks with tons of boost from turbos.
Prob. No different then others driving around with built gen1's,gen2's gen 3's , ls1's etc.

SB2 just happens to be one bad a$S flowing setup that can put down awesome #'s and get it done.

I think a SB2 built would last a hell of a long time on the street. Its not screeming at high rpm 24/7 like it is on the track in a nascar truck.etc..
