Forza 3 thirdgen racing night.

I have just purchased, like many of you I'm sure, Forza 3 for 360. It's great especially the camaro's and TA's.

I think we should have a thirdgen racing night. We will each make a car as close to our thirdgen's as we can, maybe tweak them a bit mechanically of course and then have one big race night. Maybe once a month so if someone can do it now they can rent it later on. I'm thinking possibly sat. or sunday evening?

Gotta love this game for having our cars in there...and they can do quite well with some good tuning. My 700hp twin turbo tpi motor chases down the ZR1 quite nicely

Re: Forza 3 thirdgen racing night.

have you guys tried driving without any nannies ? everything off and manual tranny is the way to drive a thirdgen, and it cant hold traction for **** with anything over 500hp. maybe i need to learn to tune better. I think these cars are perfect C class though.

Re: Forza 3 thirdgen racing night.

I have tried driving it hard with everything off and tried clutch......not smart lol.The torque these cars posses from 0-6000rpm is just a handfull to launch right without spinning too much or just boggin out of the hole.Great C class yes..and good drifters aswell with suspension tuning.

Re: Forza 3 thirdgen racing night.

I also feel the same way. I turn all assists off, and I use manual /no clutch.

It is really rough to make them smooth in the corners, the main idea is smooth on the accelerator or you'll kick it sideways. I also lower the pressure in the tires and soften up the springs, and use it for drifting. It works pretty well. I have been using it for the best in class races and it's doing great. Feel free to check out and download the indy designs from my storefront.

Depending on the angle you take the pic makes it hard to see the grid.In the game the tail lights grid isnt very distinctive as Id like them to be.But Im usually driving in cockpit view

Re: Forza 3 thirdgen racing night.

Wow you can get a serious cowl on that TA. The cowl you get for the camaro's are pretty small especially in comparison. Must be hard to anticipate corners with it covering the half the windshield

Re: Forza 3 thirdgen racing night.

So who is making the TGO decal up top of this page? Make it just like that, or I will attempt to do so myself.

gamertag = Sinester ROOKie

I have since updated the looks. Have aerocatch hood pins, Ohiodrifting OD Nade, zodiac Scorpio, and am starting on my full body paint job. Just need the TGO decal.

Yes it is. When in replay mode change the camera view to Cockpit view, then take your pictures from the inside. Enjoy.

Yeah I have a PS3 so I guess I'm gonna havta wait until Gran Turismo 5 comes out. They are supposed to have like 10,000 cars available. Here's the complete list: http://www.zerotohundred.com/newforu...t-of-cars.html

I think the complete lists of Camaros and firebirds are impressive though, even though I'll prolly havta buy most of em.
