Alright so I know it isn't a third gen but hey u gotta love it.
A friend of mine in his 2000 Firehawk vs a 06-07 Foose Mustang with a roush stage 3 supercharger kit.

All the firehawk has is a cam and suspension (its full weight too)

Eh.. They're awesome cars in their own right. I was at the gas station yesterday and saw a supercharged Cobra, complimented the guy, all that nice stuff. I appreciate all nice looking, and fast vehicles.

I used to be absolutely in love with 99-04 Mustang GT's. I was actually planning on buying an early 2000's GT 5 speed, but I saw my IROC, had to have it.

I probably will buy one some day, after I'm done restoring the IROC.

Re: Firehawk Vs. Foose stage 3 roush Mustang

yea your right .......
i do respect cars that are actually fast im not gonna say they arent when i clearly know they are fast....... but there are some mustang drivers that think they are the hottest thing on the road.....
but for me you gotta chose a side chevy or ford..
im not saying there arent any nice looking and fast mustangs but i would take a firebird or camaro any time.... ford just made way too many mustangs..... they are everywhere...

The good thing about making so many of them and them being all over is that it's a lot easier to blame someone else for speeding through town

I remember when the Firehawks were new, I really didn't like the looks of them that much. I love 'em now. I wish I had one, I'd hang on to it, what with Pontiac going extinct and all, they'll never be another.

Re: Firehawk Vs. Foose stage 3 roush Mustang

Alright so a couple weeks ago we went to the same spot for another race this time night. This time we had the Firehawk Vs TA (4th gens). They were doin a 1st gear roll. The firehawk spun like crazy everytime almost hitting the TA. Score was 1-1, they both missed shifts. Its gettin to cold to race, the TA got put in storage along with the kids Mustang(TA is his dads) Its got cam, short throw, programmer, and dumps.
That same night my buddy with his Dodge Neon SRT-4 totaled his car doin 120mph, went around a corner and there stood a deer, he locked it up slid around, went into the ditch backwards and caught the backtire on a culvert. Which sent him flipping in the air and he took out a fence. 30K worth of damage but he walked away without a scratch and no ticket they said he was lucky to be alive

His dad owns a body shop and was going to go grap some hair off of one of the other cars and put it on there, but when they looked at the SRT-4 they noticed hair and blood all the way down the car. So apparently he hit it, the couldnt find the deer after the accident so they thought they didnt hit it, but apparenlty they blew it apart.
