Okay, if you want to get really picky;
I thought that weren't going to respond to me anymore. It seems, now maybe I'm seeing things here, that you listen to yourself about as much as we do.
And yes, I do have quite a difficult time understanding what you write because it appears to be incoherent drivel. Next time, try and use commas and proper punctuation. That way, you can more clearly communicate with me on a level that most of the United States have come to accept. I hate to be that way but apparently you can't understand why I don't know what the heck you're saying
Do us all a favor. Unplug your network cable from your stolen computer, take it outside of your refinanced trailer, put it in front of your ragged out "fast iroc" and run over it, because you offer nothing valid to this board except an example of how not to behave in public.
Thank you,
Chris Payne

BTW, I'm not replying to myself, I'm responding to various people in different posts. Two reasons, so we can put CanadianBeast's thread over the 100 mark and so I can pad my post count.
Well, as the old saying goes
"Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience".

Not all of us 3rd gen guys are fast. I run 15's, and I have some respect for SHO's, mostly because one would smoke me in a race.

Valid point... he was trying to make it seem as though all 3rdgens were 14's or less... we were going stock for stock...

I know that I would have to watch out for an SHO, especially one that runs 15's. I'm pretty sure my car has a 15.5 run in her, but I can't be too sure. BTW, I have a 92 RS with headers, Flowmaster, chip, and subframes, so I think she will hold her own, but I have to launch good.
I guess the SHO is quick for what it is but 15s is not all that fast,stock ricers are running high 14s from the factory,i respect it as a sleeper but it has nothing on the looks of my car or most thirdgens i see,as for performance,stock for stock the fastest SHO is not as fast as the fastest stock 3rd gen,enough said.
The SHO can be fast but even with a 15.5 run on a thirdgen we still have stoplight torque and we can usually handle more G's for the skidpad. You can't compare the SHO against a thirdgen, they are different cars completely. That is why I'm trying to shift the topic to 4 door front wheel drive cars. What are some of the fastest?
About the imports being high 14's...yeah...so I give some respect there way as well. I like the hp/liter thing but they don't have enough of a market to impliment the tech into larger displacement engines. Even the import racing cars use smaller displacement engines. I tip my hat to a 302 ford (good engine, chevy came out with it first in late 60's ), imports that ARE fast (no stickers and no rice), and unique rides. There is no reason why somebody should be so biased to not like anything other than chevy. That's like saying a christian should never be friends with a jew. I don't like using that analogy but some people just don't see it until it's that clear. A more car related analogy would be hating the corvette for using Lotus designed heads (I think this was already said somewhere WAY up on this thread). Grow up or get out.
Back on topic: What does the pontiac bonneville do in the 1/4? Also congrats for a 100+ post!

I never said that i like only chevy.I like dodges,fords,buicks alot of different cars.If you were at a stoplight in your 12 or 13 second car and someone pulled up in a 4 door family car and tried to race, you would laugh,would you not?That's just looking at it from my point of veiw.And i'm sorry to make anyone mad but 15's is not that competitive.And i appologize for getting out of hand and talking like that to you cbpldc and Jprevost.But i don't think you should have kicked me out of here like you did but again i applogize.I just speak how i feel there's nothing wrong with that.
