TSIVOS _ Athanasios Vassilios (Thano) 1982 - 2002 Athanasios Vassilios (Thano) Tsivos passed away suddenly as a result of a tragic motor vehicle accident in Victoria, BC on Friday, September 27, 2002 at the age of 19 years. Thano was born and raised in Calgary. He attended St. Boniface, St. Bonaventure, graduating from Bishop Grandin (Class of 2000) in Calgary, and A.C.S. in Athens, Greece.

Thano joined the Canadian Forces in August of 2000 where he became a member of the Ship's Company at HMCS Tecumseh. In addition to his love of sports, he was an honest, happy individual who brought joy to others, enjoyed life and served his country. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Thano is survived by his parents, Vassilios and Patricia Lynn; sisters, Zoe-Lydia and Demi of Athens,
Greece; grandparents, Lt. Col. Edward A. Bauer, Ret'd and Olga Bauer; aunts and uncles, Beverley (Ken) Marcynuk, Wayne (Barb)Bauer, Barkley (Rachel) Bauer, Dimitri (Mary) Tsivos; and cousins, Zoe, Konstantina, Pasha, Ashley, Torin and Curtis.

Funeral Mass will be held at St. Anthony's Catholic Church (5340 - 4 Street S.W.) on Saturday, October 5, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be held at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens at a later date.
