Canadian Suppliers

I'm at the suspension point of my build. Where did you guys get you're parts from besides ordering from the states. I don't have a credit card (I know) so this hinders my chances a bit. Was just wondering if there were any canadian suppliers that I could look into. I want lca's, relo brackets and adj panhard bar. Maybe a wonderbar as well. Any thoughts? Thanks

Go to canadian Tire and order out of their catalog. They can get Lakewood stuff, and it works good, and is still pretty cheap.

I was thinking about that and what I was going to do initially, but now I kinda want the Spohn stuff. If I can't get anything around here for whatever reason, than yea, trip to CT will be done.

... and universal fit usually means no fit particularly if it's something that crap tyre sells.

Those are something entirely different, and they're thirdgen-specific.

No thirdgens have leaf springs.

I'm running a set of traction actions now. If you have $275 and want to hook, those are the solution.

Has anybody proven those things to work? I'll I've seen is people complaining about them.

I'd rather spend the $ on a set of LCA brackets and beefier LCA's. I have had 2 sets of the Lakewood LCA's and I was perfectly happy with them. The price is great too.

comment. The prices are high but the customer service is excellent. Keep in mind that you can still order from the US suppliers using money orders. It adds to the wait but it may save you some $ in the end.

Well I went from wheel hop, to no wheel hop with just those. So I'm assuming they work, never said they don't break though. We'll find out this summer.

That's a pretty expensive way to cure wheel hop lol. The wheel hop went away on my GTA when I installed the Lakewood LCA's.

I wish I could sign up on the Fast toys site. Won't let me do that

I ran up the bill on what I want though and it came to be $304.97. Now as Apeiron said this is in US funds. So taking the $304.97 and times that by 1.8, it comes to $548.94 which is still lower than if I was to order the parts straight from Spohn. Now if only I could join fast toys...

Steve, have you considered getting some stuff from UMI on eBay? The prices are reasonable and the stuff is of good qaulity.

Hawk's math good, your math bad

I agree with the UMI comment Acceld made. Great quality stuff - just as good as Spohn - and cheaper. As said, with the dollar so good, the cost becomes less of a sting.

Thats what 6Am does to you after 8hrs of work. Don't worry, I'm sitting down now.

$342.42 sounds good to me. Still can't join up on the site though.

LOL come and take it off. That thing took forever to install and would probably be even worse to remove. Nice piece of hardware though. Well, it looks nice. I, of course, have no practical experience with how well it works lol.
