Steve Plunkett's Fleetwood Country cruzein 2006

Here are some pics from the other car show that was going on at the same time as the Camaro Nationals

This was an Awesome event over 600 vets 2000 plus cars including the Bat Mobile, Monkey Mobile, a couple of riddler award winners etc. Great job Mr. Steve Plunkett. Not only that it was a charity event that only cost $5 to get in and all the money went to Muscualr Distrophy research.

Yes the show is put on by that rich guy(Steve Plunkett) who is actually a very nice guy who takes time out for you and talks to anyone and everyone very personable. As for corvettes there were at least 600 of them there. check out the last picture above those are all vettes.

Do you have any pics of the one on your car? That one is made to look like a second gen spoiler... but it actually started as a 3rd gen spoiler.

The colour is 3-stage candy

PPG Pure Gold base
PPG Sunset Red midcoat
PPG Clear

Isn't that an invitational only event?

It is not invitation only but the entrance rules are 1985 or older unless approved by Steve Plunkett. We actually had to meet with Steve the thursday before the show and let him decide if we could bring it or not.

When we went there the first time Steve was not home and 3 rotwilers met me at the door. Fortunately when the big one went for my arm at the door he only wanted to lick it.

The extensions are factory 2nd gen peices as well.I had to cut 5" off the extension and graft it to the center section. After i had them together i had to use abit of bondo to fill the valley(there is a slight dip between the extension and center)Sand it smooth and there we have it.

And to get it to mold smooth to the hatch...i had to use an apple sauce jar lid as my bondo scrapper to get the contour right.
