I'm sure the fact that its a t-top car doesn't help, but man, these chassis are BAAAD. I'm going to have to do some MAJOR stiffening before I'm happy with it.
The problem isn't my suspension (altho my suspension is bouncy), its definitely the way the frame takes the bumps instead of the suspension. I can really feel the chassis flex when I back out of the driveway at an angle (so one wheel comes down off the driveway at a time) - you can literally feel the chassis bending lol.
I drove the family Ford Taurus the other day and it felt like a rock...that's pretty sad lmao.
I know SFC's are a must, and I'm gonna get a front strut tower brace - are there any other "easy" frame reinforcements I can do before I decide I'm gonna tear apart the car and weld my own?

Reason: typo
wonder bar. Search it if you don't know what it is.
I have a hardtop, SFC, wonder bar, and I still opted for a simple 6-point cage that i installed myself for about $120. Now that really got rid of any flex. Car is super stiff now.
I have alston SFC's and a Kenny Brown 3pt strut tower brace. Seems to work well, waay stiffer than stock.
I also have the wonder bar as IROC had them factory.
I'm not about to cage my car!
take a look at my cage. It is not the NHRA legal kind. I made it myself. Doesn't get in the way at all when getting in the car. and the cross bar in the rear, i omitted. If I had time, and $ back when i was installing it I would have got the rear bars bent so that they tucked up better, but oh well. It is always just me and my girlfriend anyways.
Not that you should cage your car, but it really isn't a big deal at all. Cost me $120 I think. Of course I did the install though.
NO! I used to before I learned how dangerous that is. I def don't wanna crush my spine if I get in a crash. I installed them in between the rear upper and lower cushions, so in case that I want them out of the way, I pull them through the front seats, roll them up, and tuck them under the rear seat cushion. Best, safest, and still track legal way to do it.
