selling the iroc ...on ebay
Well, the time has come and I have listed the iroc on ebay. WIth the arrival of the new baby, and the wedding taking place in 2009, its the right thing to do.
Hopefully in a few years I will purchase another one, but I will do it a little differently.
If you are interested you can check it out here
http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...m=250153272293
I will still stop by from time to time to see how everyone is.

Re: selling the iroc ...on ebay
Not my cup of tea but, it should be interesting to see what your vehicle fetches. Definitely a show modified vehicle so it's going to be a niche market buyer.
And not sure whether not having a motor is a good thing or a bad thing. But it looks like you spent quite a bit of time and money on that project. Hope it works out for you, especially with a wedding just over the horizon.
Good luck with everything.

Re: selling the iroc ...on ebay
Man... Sorry to hear bro I was lookin forward to seeing a monster engine in there.
George is right on the money with respect to parting it out. I had a 73 Nova BB muncie car that was a biatch to sell as 73 is not a desirable year being the big bumpers and all. I tried to get 6 grand for it back in 92 or thereabouts and I couldn't get it. I parted it out and ended up doubling up I couldn't believe it. It took about 3 months to sell it all but that was before ebay lugging the parts to Barrie flea market and adds in buy and sell etc.
Selling a car that heavily modified is not easy and takes a unique individual so I hope it goes well for you but I'd part it out if it was mine. As heart breaking as that probably sounds to you its the $$$ that talks.
Speaking of coin did you get any LSX parts yet that you want to unload?

Re: selling the iroc ...on ebay
Just checking back in. Curious to see if it sold for the $13,500 U.S buy-it-now. No takers.
I see it's going for $6,000 buy-it-now.
Do you guys think it'll sell??

Re: selling the iroc ...on ebay
well it has sold.
A company from illinois has bought it.
They purchased it for $6k american.
Hate to see it go, but from what I hear it will be in good hands.
Ill stop by now and again and ill be back with a new iroc in a few years, however, will do things a bit differently this time
Take care all

Re: selling the iroc ...on ebay
I am on my 4th car. Each time I say I won't sell this one. Then something comes up and I sell it.
I don't think I'll ever sell my current car. But then I haven't seen the new Camaro up close yet who knows?
I think 3rd gens get under your skin. Hard to quit 'em. Maybe I need a 12 step group. Anybody else?

The new camaro looks some kind of gayer than aids show & shine poser wagon - could'nt never see myself driving something like that.
I like this car though:
