I like the lowrider next to you at the pump lol. I wish my firebird was in that nice of shape. Did you have to buy a new spoiler? When I got mine it was just junk really, had to take it off.

Re: Third Gen Fest '10'

I'd love to come this year. I've got a friend over by Oak Forest that I'd want to see too. I'm a car salesman and memorial day weekend is usually pretty busy so I don't know if I'll be able to get off work. Me and my roommate both have third gen camaros and his family isn't too far from Crete, so maybe i can get him to come with.

it would be great to make it, even though neigher of us would be winning any awards, not by a long shot, haha.

Thanks for the props, your car is also killer and I bet it is a lot quieter.

Everything is for sale... It appears no one has any money...

Had the car up for 20k and couldn't get that out of it. I have that in the motor and trans. Screw it, I play with it in a way I can better afford. E85 seems like the way to go. Although last time I was in Texas it seemed nonexistent. This isn't about going green, it is about $13.75 a gallon vs. $2.59 a gallon

So what do you all normally do, just camp somewhere overnight? If the rule about the beer cans is true, I'm going to need to spend a night somewhere lol.

I just drive home since I live close, just stop drinking 3 hours or so before hand. Usually ride with someone else for the cruise since my trailer queen doesn't get street driven too often. ie slicks, etc.

Re: Third Gen Fest '10'

I'm not sure if I'll make it, I still have a number of things to do to the 86 to make it road ready and safe.

I have to get the timing right again since I had to take the intake off to drill and tap a hole. Exhaust has to be bent and put on since its just open headers and very loud....quarter panels stilll need to be fixed, weather stripping needs to be ordered once I get the cash. Thank god the paintjob cost me $12 at Advanced.....(primer) anyone want to help me this weekend fix the stupid stuff so I can atleast make it outta the driveway, the Bat in the corner is looking mighty fun right about now, my patience with this thing has run out

Yep. That was 08. The only year I was there as well. I just pulled the pictures that we took from the fest and yes Steve, even at ground level, we can see that you're crooked.

HaHa, you can see the guys changing Neil's doors in the driveway.

How did they just happen to get a picture during Thirdgen Fest?

Re: Third Gen Fest '10'

Is there going to be any groups passing through Indianapolis? I would love to go in my Formula, but I never drove it farther than maybe 100 miles. I would feel better if there were people around if something went during the trip.

I know we have some people coming from that area and further south but I'm not sure if it's people off this board or not.
