Thanks for posting pictures zero13!! Very nice shot of my wife's bright red (second picture and another later) and possibly only female owner of a 3rd gen there!! Not to mention all the other great shots.. I was lazy and didn't take a single picture as I was too busy gabbing it up with all the great people at the show. It was a picture perfect day and we are officially de-virginised 3rdGen Fest groupies.. We will be making the yearly trip for sure!! Hope to see you guys again who are in the IL area sometime this summer.

Nah, he won more than that. 1st place Camaro Modified, I know for sure, because he won a dyno pull. I believe best interior, best restoration, and maybe best of show. I do know for sure he won Camaro Modified though. Maybe Denny knows, or Steve, most of the trophies ended up by Steve.

Crete, IL. Memorial Day weekend. I drove from Columbia, Missouri (8 hours) for the event. A bunch of really nice cars, bunch of really good people too. Denny and his wife were a great host. If I'm still stateside next year, I'll try my best to make it again.

I'm from Quincy, IL but I'm stationed at Fort Sill, OK. I'll DEFINATLY try to have my 84 done by then and make the drive, just don't make fun of my berlinetta haha

It's not that kind of show. The cars were grouped, Camaro stock, Camaro modified, Firebird stock, Firebird modified, and projects. I don't think that any group got any more attention than the other. I spent a good part of the day making sure that my 7 year old daughter wasn't bored out of her mind. I did make it to just about every car though.
