Could someone post a pic of what the TPI lower intake manifold center bolt holes should look like after elongationg a '87 or later intake manifold to fit pre-1987 cylinder heads?
Also, I have a chance to buy a post '87 lower intake manifold with the center bolt holes already elongated, however, the center bolt holes are completely opened up. In other words, on the exhaust side it is completely open or cut out.

Bohn333,
Thanks for the reply. You did see where I said the holes are completely opened up?
I assumed by elongating the center bolt holes folks meant just opening up the holes towards the cylinder head and then using a spacer or something.
I've enever seen one completely cut out on that side. Have you used one like this?
It looks like I am going to have to use a washer (big enough to cover the diameter of the bolt head) that will sit up on top of the intake manifold, not down in bolt hole area if that makes sense. Do you know what I mean?
Thanks
Matt
