Our Vortec cylinder head kit provides you with everything you need to install the new Vortec heads on your vehicle.

The upgraded, roller heads have been modified to accept our heavy duty Z28 valve springs with lightweight LT4 retainers. This produces a high reving cylinder head that can handle up to 0.575" lift hydraulic roller camshafts.

This kit includes Our Upgraded Vortec cylinder heads #SD8060A, head gaskets, head bolts, rocker arms, SDPC TPI Vortec Intake Manifold #12498060, intake gaskets and 12 point intake bolts.

Note: Includes our #SD3816 EGR kit for installing the EGR system with our Vortec TPI manifold with headers, headers not included.

Is this a good set up ? also what cam shaft would go good with this combo

SDPC

In one of the SDPC mags they had a about a three page article on the vortec TPI base plate. The only ? is if i buy vortec do i have to change any thing else on the engine

it sounds to be a good price for the amount of parts you are getting. They have a crate motor that makes 360hp with the LT4 hotcam in it. the only differnce would be the rotating assmebly.
