Accel 58mm T-body

Has anyone made or adapted an airfoil to an Accel 58mm throttle body?

After looking at the inlet on the Holley, BBK etc., I can't help but think that an air flow improvement can be made.

None are made for either the Holley or the BBK/Edelbrock throttle bodies that I am aware of.

They are already "smoothed" and in essence have one built in already (at least my Holley 52mm and BBK 58mm do, and so do the ones pictured on the web sites).

Maybe I wasn't clear on my original post. The Accel or Lingenfelter throttle body has a blunt or flat face between the bores of the throttle blades.

The Holley, BBK/Edelbrock are made with with a smooth radius between the bores. I believe that the Accel throttle body suffers from turbulence at the inlet and that it can only be corrected by having a smooth radius.

I have read where people thought the casting was a little rough and smoothed out the throttle body. You could do the same. Allen

I won't argue the necessity of an air foil on this setup. Here is a pic to facilitate the discussion.

The air inlet adapter is a large oval that attaches to the face of the TB (I can post pics if necessary).
