TPS voltage

I read a past post about testing your knock sensor. Key on wire off makes 5 volts.Wire on sensor, probe back of plug and should be about 2.5 volts. Mine shows 9 volts on both sides of the test. It just started having intermitent knock problems and shows the ESC code. It is the original at 120000 miles, its a 86 305 TPI.Does this sound like a problem with voltage to anyone?? Thanks Allan

Well Alan, are you talking about the TPS or the knock sensor?

Check your title to your post.
