Engine shuts off when shifting from drive to reverse
I have a 90 firebird formula with an LB9 TPI 5.0 V8 engine. My car sometimes shutoffs when I shift from drive to reverse. Someone told me that I may have a bad MAP sensor. My car starts up everytime.

Engine: on the floor
Transmission: next to engine
Axle/Gears: the ones that turn

Pull some codes, if the MAP is bad it should have something stored.

Where dose your motor idle in drive, if to low, that will make it die.
