MASSFLOEFI.com

Anyone out there have any experience with or heard anything about the EFI system on MASSFLOEFI.com. I'm considering one and would like some opinions.

Actually looks nice and if it's like they say, it might be worth it for those who don't want to spend month after month of tuning. Especially someone who is going from carb to EFI

It is a very clean looking setup that would get rid of the mass air TPI restriction.

Looks like a ford mass air setup with a translator box and a modified GM mass air flow sensor. Probably only reprogrammed the ECM to work with the injectors and GM MAF. Seeing how little programming the Mustang guys do and most have fast cars, I say it is probably a good setup. The good new is it looks like most of the sensors would be easy enough to find out on the road due to their Ford origins. They even use a Ford style diagnostic connector, so the system can be scanned just like a Ford. Ignition control module and coil are both ford as well.

OTOH, that Ford Smallblock with the supercharger is just a joke. NO WAY it builds any boost plumbed like that.

FWIW, this kit could be peiced togather much cheaper than they sell it for. The only really modified parts are the GM MAF and the Distributer and the ECM programming.

For the DIY guy, it would be cheaper to get a Painless Ford harness, use an edelbrock MPFI conversion kit(I actually have one that I pulled off a customers Firebrid when the ECM croaked and he went back carb), Cadillac TBI bonnet, then plumb that into the stock ford air cleaner MAF sensor. Use the ford injectors and ECM. The Ignition control module shouldn't be too hard to adapt.
