Actual length of runners

Does anyone have any idea how long the total lenght of the runners are for a stock manifold, slp runners and stock plenum???

When I shoved a tape measure down a stock runner, minus the plenum, many years back it was over 24 inches before it bumped into something (vavle stem, far side of the valve, who knows).

I think I read somewhere that the calculated length is something like 17 inches.

For some reason I recall the number being 19", by memory can be a dangerous reference book.

Thanks Vader, I think you're right. After searching through alot of different sights that seems to be the figure I come up. I'm going to try and set my engine up with the Accel DFI setup. WHY? Because I kinda got with swap of parts so why not use it. It seems to be pretty complicated, but I've got all winter to figure it out.... Anway, Thanks again... Rosco
