Bolt-on 305s?

Okay so I have a 305 TPI with the 700-R4,

I don't feel like swapping for a 350 right now so I thought I would try to have a "strong" running 305...

Since I'm slowly learning about engines and cars, I can only do bolt-ons right now...

I was thinking about doing SLP intake runners, Hooker/SLP headers, Cold Air Induction, and some other stuff I can't think of right now...

Also I am gonna get 3.42s and a transgo shiftkit, nicer Exhaust, some suspension stuff...

You think that would be a "nice" 305, I'm not looking for lots of power, just some more get up and GO!

-Peace

runners are easy to do, but you wont get a whole lot of gain out of them, but they will still help. headers are a great idea i think and they should go over to any other gen 1 sbc you want to swap in later. i dont know much about cold air inductions, maybe someone else can chime in on that.
i would start with either gears or suspension. i started with those and was pleased even when i still had my 305. i liked the tighter handling i got from different suspension. might want to go for some connectors and stiffer springs or something.
the best noticeable difference will most likely be the gears, but also consider correcting the speedo and the higher rpm's you will have on the highway. just some stuff to think about

Yea, I plan on getting everything done at once, for that "different car" effect!
