well i posted a thread of a popping sound in my mufflers. And I know this might sound stupid but do the order of the injector clips matter? I mean what happens if you cross them left clip on right injector, and right clip on left injector? Will this cause that popping sound. And if it does matter, are they marked or something?, cause I did a TBI to TPI swap and in the process removed all the old wire loom that was no good anyway and cant tell witch goes on witch. Any help Please

Reason: tittle
how would I fix that? my exhaust doesnt smell bad and there is no black smoke. Are there any other symptoms? Or can it run rich without smoke and strong odor?
Thanks man, so it doesnt matter huh? thats cool, now I just got to figure out why it is popping. Do you have any suggestions? Timing? fuel pressure? something?
I thought "batch fire" meant that 1 bank of injectors, right or left, all fired at the same time. I think the connectors for each bank have a different color-code on the two wires. I don't think you can cross the connectors right to left and have the engine running correctly.

OK, I just looked. On my '91 L98 each injector (connector) on the right side has one GREEN and one pink/black stripe wire. Left side has BLUE and pink/black stripe. Factory original.

nope, they should be anywhere between 14-17 ohms of resistance. 18 is fine.
however, your injectors could be bad and still read the right amount of ohms. an ohm test only reads the electrical resistance in the injector. it doesn't read whether or not the injector is clogged or spraying evenly.
you could send them to get flow tested. i can't remember the name of the one popular injector guy on here you could send them to, but can anyone else chime in?
