Ford MAF

What would it take to be able to use a ford MAF in our cars? Because for one there alot cheaper then ours, they appear to have less restriction, and some have the IAT built into them.
Im considering doing the "high flow lid" mod for my tpi but I need a larger diameter MAF. Any input it appreciated

Re: Ford MAF

I know the Ford MAF sensors output a analog signal. I am not sure if ours are digital or analog. I know the v6 MAF is digital.

This is the stock ford calibration curve. Compare it to a TPI curve in tunerpro.

Re: Ford MAF

Buy/Build a Frequency to Voltage converter and use a modern LT1 or 5.3 truck MAF. The 5.3 MAF has 5 pins which includes an IAT.
