Ok so far i replaced spark plugs, spark plug wires, cap, rotor, fuel injectors, new AFPR, knock sensor, ESC sensor, oxygen sensor, cold start switch, etc... I tried turning on my car, it still doesnt want to fire up, it seems like it wants to, even though i step on the throttle all the way it still wont fire up. Fuel pump is semi new, i tried adding some of the engine starter spray and nothing, am i over looking something? can it be my distributor may be taking a s***? Any opinions?

Is there Spark?

Is there fuel?

Is the spark at the right time?

If all three above answers are yes, your engine will start.

Holding the throttle wide open causes the EFI to go into clear flood mode and it injects very little fuel.

Some things to check
Is there spark?
Check at a couple plugs while cranking
IF you have a spark tester, set it for about a 20KV gap

Is there fuel?
Fuel pressure test port
Are the injectors firing? Shoot some carb cleaner into the plenum.

Is the spark at the right time?
Use a timing light during cranking
Or roll the engine over to line up timing marks, rotor should point to #1 or
#6 cylinder on the distributor cap. If not, potential jumped timing.

Is there compression? My 84 T/A I had was running fine one night. Picked up a pizza, went to GF's house, and car would not start next morning....no spark. So fixed that, had spark, could see fuel spraying into the carb, still would not start. Got it home and did a compression check and 3 of the 4 cylinders on the DS had ZERO compression.

It has gas, and it has spark, i need a timing light to check the timing on it, other than that i wouldnt know that the hell is going on with the car
