Car: 2010 SS, 1997 SS Engine: LS3, LT1 Transmission: 12 manual gears total Axle/Gears: 3.45's, 3.42's | TB gasket
I removed the throttle body from my motor and the gasket was trashed, so i ordered a new one.
anyways, i put the throttle body back on without the gasket, cause im not drivin the car til i get all my parts on it fixed. but i did start the car to see if i had fixed my other 2 problems.
my question- without the tb gasket, the motor is sucking in extra air from around the TB right? causeing it to idle faster that usual.
just makin sure i didnt mess something else up. its normal to idle faster when theirs a air leak right? | | |
