Need help finding Wells MAF sensor...

I spent most of today on the road searching for a Wells SU145 MAF for my 1988 GTA 5.7. Autozone carries Wells products but not the SU145.
Checked stores in Glasgow, KY, Bowling Green, KY, and the Rivergate area of Nashville, TN., including "mom and pop" parts stores, major regular parts stores, and major "performance" stores.
They all said AutoZone is the store that carries Wells, but AutoZone doesn't carry that number and will not (can not) order it.
Does anyone know somewhere I could get that part. I need it before the Beech Bend Bash on April 7.
I'm at 14.06 (99.50 mph) and have made a couple more cheap mods and trying to get in the upper 13s without spending money on parts that tend to make the car not as streetable as I would like to keep it.
AND, VADER, I sure hope it is worth the trouble! lol

Go here: http://www.wdautoparts.com/ World Discount Auto Parts.... or call Tom Martin there at 800) 288-6728 Ext 115. Last time I talked to him I think it was $160 and has a lifetime warranty.

Thanks for the tip, I'll give them a call on Monday.

Does anyone have any "real-life" experience when changing from Bosch to Wells?

Any flow numbers? Any performance numbers? Surely it will flow more than the low 500s cfms. I really don't want to gut my MAF sensor, allthough I have considered buying a remanufactured one and gutting that one to get more flow.

I'm building a cold air system, for the GTA, somewhat similar to the SLP, using large tubing (read-plastic sewer pipe!) and K & N cone shaped filter.

I sure would like to have one in hand and look at it before I order it, though.

If you get an error code after switching to a Wells, try to reset the computer....

I didnt feel any diffrence with my 350 but perhaps with my future AFR headed 383
