dimensions of a 350 tpi fuel pump??????

If anybody has one laying around I could use the dimensions. I'm converting to fuel injection and trying to get an idea just how much larger the tpi 350 pump is. If somebody could give the length and diameter that would help a lot. ken

The stock TBI & TPI fuel pumps are in the tank. If you dont have FI now, you probably have a mechanical pump on the front side of your block. You would remove that, and the rod, and install a block off plate.

I would go with an aftermarket, external pump so you dont have to mess with an in-tank setup. I dont know what year of vehicle you are working with, but on my 86, a good spot for the external pump would be near the fuel filter at the rear of the vehicle.

Actually what I have is a jeep cj that I'm putting a tpi motor in. I've got a tank from a fuel injected jeep. Advance Adapters fabricated a corvette fuel pump on a coversion they did. I'm trying to get an idea if the f body's and vette are similar. I'm definetly using in the intank to avoid vapor lock and other problems associated with the external pumps. I've also contacted walbro and they gave me some help but I need those dimensions.
