If you have access to a machine shop why not make your own. All you need is a lathe and a parting tool along with some round stock the correct diameter. Heres a picture of my custom throttlebody with a set of 62mm blades. Thats a stock 48mm blade sticking inside the throttlebody.
haha thats nice good work, what are u running with that? better be a 572 big block or a twin turbo 572ci BB. lol thats wayyyyyy to be a TB for anything under 800 hp. looks good tho. thumbs up! u musta lost a bunch of flow down thow, and throttle response.
they are just 2 round sheets of aluminum. just have them cut out 2 52mm circles form aluminum flat stock and then port the TB to 52mm. i would use 1/16" thick stock, 1/8" max

Yea they are overkill but throttle response is very good after a lot of tweeking with my chip program. Also, running a six speed and 4:11 gears really helps. Its currently a 402 big block but i have a built 454 in the works.
is that still the stock TB Body, or is that an aftermarket you modified more?
Dale, that TB started out as a chunk of billet aluminum. The only parts i didnt make are the throtle linkage and the IAC mount. Also the air cleaner adapter started life as a chunk of billet.
