Stock 92 305 TPI 5-Speed B4C Camaro....Times????

Anyone have 1/4 mile times for a stock 92 305 TPI 5-Speed Camaro with the B4C and 1LE options? Just picked one up and want to take it to the strip to see if I can get similar times. Thanks in advance.

Look in "Chevrolet Police Cars 1955-1996" by Edwin Sanow. If you own a B4C, you'll want this book.

Sanow has the annual test data of police cars as performed by the Michigan State Police in it for all the recent stuff, incl 1992 B4C Camaro.

Also understand that the tests are done with a driver AND a passenger AND a full tank of gas, so you would need to correct the measurements by reducing the car weight by roughly 300 lbs and then using Cartest or QuarterJr so see what they new ET and trap speed would be.

Also, on the manual trans cars. they don't speed shift -- they use the clutch. HTH. - Ken
