I want to remove AIR system from my car

I recently bought a 88 Formula with 305 TPI, 700r4. I would like to remove the AIR system from the motor. What do you need to do this properly, and will doing this screw up the computer, engine performance causing trouble codes, or worse no trouble codes? Anyone who has done this successfully please help.

No problems at all, unless you're going to go through emissions checks, and all you'll need is the right belt and 8 brass pipe plugs (3/8 I think).

Or order GM p/n 10186167. $32.77 from gmpartsdirect. AIR delete pulley. You can use the standard belt and routing then.
