What roller rockers do you recommend?

I am getting new valve stems seals put on and I want to replace the roller rockers and springs since they will be off anyways.

What springs and roller rockers do you recommend for a stock 5 spd 305?

Re: What roller rockers do you recommend?

Comp 981s and heat treated stamped steel 1.6 rockers if you're not changing cams.

If you think you'll change cams any time soon,,, might want to go ahead and get the 941s and +.050 locks to set the springs at 1.75". Anything close to or over .500 lift would benefit from true roller rockers,,, not just the roller tips. The Proform roller rockers are decent for the money on moderate cams. For a little more,,,, in case you see yourself eventually going with a serious hydraulic roller or a pretty aggressive high lift solid roller,,, the Comp Pro Magnums would keep you from having to buy another set on down the road.
