90 Degree schrader valve adapter for fuel rail???

HI All,
Has anyone else had trouble hooking up there fuel pressure gage and needed a 90 degree adapter of some kind? I have to take my plenum off to get my line to screw on?
Does anyone make a 90 dgree adapter? This would be a big help.

Thanks a bunch!

Yes I did. I happened to have an Accel fuel pressure gauge mounted on the fuel rail prior to installing my permanent Auto Meter gauge. I used the fittings supplied with the Accel gauge to mount the Autometer gauge. Here is a picture of the Accel gauge with the fitting, I am sure you can find these fittings somewhere (without needing to buy the Accel gauge).

A "-04 AN" fitting (ie Russell, Earls, Aeroquip, etc) fits the factory male flare on the fuel rail. They have 90°s, 45°, Ts, etc, as adapters and hose ends.

You need a #4 female adapter or hose end to fit the nipple. Then what ever you want from there.
You could use a 90° #4 adapter with a female on one end and a male on the other end (Russell # 614804)
to have a flare nipple your gauge will screw onto. You will have to remove the valve core from your fuel rail and use a #4 AN cap on the adapter fitting to seal it up when not using a gauge. Or if you want to keep a valve core in the system you can use an AN to 1/8" female pipe thread adapter on the end. You can install a Ford multiport fuel pressure test port in the 1/8" NPT fiting.

You could also use a 90° hose end and run a hose to a remote location on the firewall or strut tower and put the test port there.

Or you can install a permanent gauge on the adapter or hose.
