intake manifold mod

hi everyone i was wondering if its possible to modify an early tpi manifold to fit later style heads with center bolt covers? is there enough material by the two center bolts on manifold to remove so i can bolt it to the heads? and if so whats the easiest way to do it?

Re: intake manifold mod

Most just drill the holes out large enough to take the different angle

I'm in the same boat. Late TPI on early heads there's a ton of material because you're going in the other direction.

Here's the issue with early TPI on late heads.

There's not really much metal there to remove.

I'd also love to hear how people have worked around this.
