TPI plate setup....

Just purchase a used Holley nitrous plate for $50. I was really wanting a nitrous outlet plate but $285 just sounds a little steep to me. Got a few questions:

Does anyone have this plate, and does it hit a lot harder than just a single nozzle?

Any gains going from nozzle to plate?

Is there anything more than just putting on the plate and spacing the throttle bracket forward, then setting the TV cable?

Does anyone else other than holley sell the plate to space forward the throttle bracket? Its $25 from Jegs. Ill probably just make one.

Re: TPI plate setup....

actually me and another Iroc in my town actuality gain .2 of a sec just using a single fogger with the same pills. the whole thing about it acting like a tb spacer might actually hurt performance like some people claim with the tb spacer. if you already got the plate use it because it makes for a cleaner install.

Re: TPI plate setup....

What is the problem with a TB spacer?

I also have a single NOS nozzle on the car now. I'll probably just run it with the nozzle and then change out for the plate and see what gains or losses I get. My single nozzle setup is clean also, I just bought it for performance.
