VERY rough and HIGH idle.

Hi there...

I am finally finished with my 87 TPI swap project...I have converted my 87 305 LG4 Camaro into a 305 TPI engine...And the car starts and drives good...

But I have had a few problems now as I am going to test drive the car..
First of all I had a problem with my alternator and battery.
The alternator was not charging at all so that was because it didn't have 12V going into it...But now the alternator is charging so that is not a problem.

I have a very rough idle, and mostly HIGH idle....When I drive the car it runs great...Great acceleration and nice RPM when cruising...When I slow down the car, the idle is very high..sometimes about 1500rpm and up to 2000rpm...

I have tried to adjust the IAC and the TPS sensor but still the same...
Any ideas of what it could be??

Another thing is that I think my battery is almost dead..Because the voltage drops often when I use several electrical components and it seems like the alternator is having problems to give them power...

I think that would have to be the battery because I tried to charge my battery with a battery charger and it charged a little bit and then suddenly it was 0 volts on the charger...I am not sure why but that's it...
