Micro Tech MAF Info

I recently installed a non adjustable Micro Tech MAF on my car to try and clear up some occasional caughing through intake and popping out the exhaust (no codes). The maf cleared up these issues but now it doesn't want to run when cold (real rich, and no codes). When warm the throttle response is better than ever. Any input would be appreciated. thanks Mike

Re: Micro Tech MAF Info

see if you can get a Datalog (Datastream) of the computer and see what its reading. With those values you may beable to figure out what the problem is

Re: Micro Tech MAF Info

thats too high at idle in park......normal in drive but in park it should be around 1500-1800 roughly, its reading more air which means the computer is saying more fuel more fuel

that 1500-1800 would be for 350ci? this engine is 406, but doing the math still comes out around 2100 grams which is way less than I'm seeing on mine. So, do I still have a MAF issue?

Re: Micro Tech MAF Info

very possible, start with the MAF relays, then check your wiring, then change the MAF sensor
